Not sure were you heard that but its wrong, Betfair actively encourage the use of automation

It's a long time since I heard of someone getting a warning. I can't remember one since they introduced streaming, polling yes, but getting a slap for data being pushed at you would be harsh.

Gpt doesn't know anything about Betfair internal decision making. If you ask it for a citation that position will be an assumption based on a handful of old unverifiable posts somewhere.
