How best to implement this strategy?

Hi all

I have a strategy which involves me selecting horses in the morning that I want to lay if they meet certain criteria approaching race time.

Can someone guide me as to the best way to implement this whole thing with Bet Angel / Guardian please?

For Example:

Red Rum is on my list as a lay bet in the 4.55 at Wolverhampton, but only if he is third favorite and within the odds range of 4.0 -10.0, and the second favorite is within the odds range of 2.0 to 6.0 at 10 seconds before the scheduled start.

If all of those parameters are met, I want to lay him to liability of say 5% of the bank, which constantly updates as each result becomes known.

Obviously the above is a concocted version to try and cover all of the angles, but hopefully you get the gist of the sort of thing I want to put together.

Thanks

If you know in advance that horse which you wish to lay that is one of possible ways to automate it ( for example I chose Munsif at 15:05 Nottingham 1m2f Mdn Stks ) :

If you don't know that horse and wish to lay any horse that met these conditions you could use 'Ranking' in options too.

Thank you for taking the time to reply jtrader, I really appreciate your help.

A further question related to this!

Today I have 15 horses on my list, so I'm guessing I would have to replicate that rule for each horse, or is it possible to add them all in the box where you have the horse name (separated by commas maybe)?

I would also need to add in the horse position in the market as a qualifying requirement, but I think I know how to do that in the conditions.

Thanks again

EDIT
I just realized the rule is attached to the race, so I wouldn't be able to add multiple horses as they are all in different races.

Would it be possible to load the horses and race courses/times from a .csv? I need to load this method every day, and can see it taking quite a time if I need to load the horses individually?

Just change the rule to choose 'by nomination' and not 'by position' as it's in screenshots and you could easy to choose in guardian columns 'automation nominated selection 1,2 and etc' each of all 15 day selections as you load a .baf file to each event you wish.

Thanks again jtrader.

I have taken this on board and also other information from around the forum and guides, and I am trying to do it using an imported list of selections. I will see if it works, and if needs be I can revert to your suggestions, which are greatly appreciated!

There are two ways you could do this:

1) Set a rule against all races that triggers against any horse in a set list of text. Obviously you'd need to update this list every day.

2) Add an 'automation nominated selection 1' column in Guardian and select any relevant horse. Then add a rule that triggers only against 'guardian nominated selection 1'.
