SERVANT Cancels when move to another market.

Hi
I always thought when you activate a servant it shows Green indication which it does to say all the rules (Gubbins) inside it are active. When i click Guardian to look at another market and come back to original market Servant stops i have to re activate, anyone any ideas. Does the same servant have to be in Guardian

That's how they were designed to work - to assist a manual trader on the market they currently have on their screen.

Once you switch to another market any servants running will be stopped, if you want rules to trigger in the background after you've switched to another market then you'd use a regular automation file.

A couple of options
You could open a 2nd ladder / one click screen, minimise that as much as possible and hide it. That will keep servants running.
If you going to do this a lot, probably be best to save the screen layout.

The better option
Create an on/off button (servant) for the one click screen. Then you can use that to control rules in Guardian.

Example on/ off file.

Servants are great. Very powerful tool. Well it allows you to create your own tools.
I have many. Simple ones that simply play a sound, so I check the sounds working.
I have one the can open a new ladder for the market of my last bet matched.
One that can monitor another market.
One that starts TPD , Changes the settings and opens the IPT screen.
As I said above you can also use them to control parts of an automation file, maybe change the stake.
Also some more bespoke trading tools.
