Hi all.

After bonus bagging a few years ago i always meant to go on to try trading but never really found the time. Anyway ive now plenty of time on my hands so ive decided to give it a real go with betangel, first concentrating on scalping the horses.
Ive watched loads of videos and absorbed alot of the advice thats around on the net and also used the practice mode on betangel to get used to placing bets and canceling bets etc. I am now also starting to watch and monitor the betting, WOM and also the charts, which brings me to my question (first of many no doubt :) )
Is it worth keeping a record of the "price/volume over time" charts for each of the Daily horse races that takes place. In order to try and give me a better understanding of possible betting patterns or trends for the different types of races.
Or is Trading more of a case of picking out possible patterns or trends that appear live and each individual race is different no matter how many are running or where the race is held etc.
Ive followed the charts and WOM live and can see where traders drop big money in and out to confuse the real WOM readings and i know this is where i need to concentrate and observe, but im wondering if i could possibly learn also from reading charts ive recorded before i start losing my money
