Just me or are some bets not hitting the market?

First two markets were a bit jumpy, so maybe that was the cause of vice versa.

Pretty amazing drift. Was sure it would pull back at some point.

It's amazing how often a chart indicates the limit of a price.

Last race almost went off early, they jumped just 2 seconds past post time.

Excellent day 1:
+145% vs 2024
+83% vs 2023

Long may it continue...
TPD automation not so good today;

Day 2:
-23% vs 2024
-44% vs 2023

Total so far:
+21% vs 2024
-12% vs 2023
Very disappointing TPD day 3 for me:
-31% vs 2024
-79% vs 2023

Total so far:
+1% vs 2024
-53% vs 2023
Another poor day for my TPD automation. Strange that day 1 was so promising, only for days 2, 3, and 4 to drop right off.

Day 4:
-46% vs 2024
-69% vs 2023

Total so far:
-17% vs 2024
-58% vs 2023

Saturdays never seem to work for me at Ascot.

Well I say that, they do, just not on the scale of mid-week action.

A decent day 5 for my TPD automations, but not enough to pull back the overall negative vs last year. Total of £832 profit from TPD across the 5 days.

TPD Day 5:
+41% vs 2024
+58% vs 2023

TPD Royal Ascot total:
-9% vs 2024
-51% vs 2023

As I suspected at the start of the week, turnover was up at Royal Ascot this year. Betfair started strongly, but fizzled out on the last two days, ending the week +8.5% on last year. You would expect a little more when there is no football on.

Meanwhile, over on Betdaq, we saw YoY daily growth for the whole meeting. This put them 14% ahead of last year, which is a strong performance. But more important was the relative performance to Betfair, which was at an all-time high. They had an excellent Royal Ascot.

Bookies had a nightmare in 2025 at Royal Ascot. Favourites won 11.26% more often than their odds suggested. Last year was 3.20% in their favour.
