Yesterday had quite a good day, and one Trade Peter likes, the Horse that legged it away from the start :D :D , I pilled in money on the lay side as it ran the price went zooming into hevens those who were on the backside i hope you got out. I was greened up prior to that, then it was withdrawn, i had a nice total only to see it go back to the original green, so let me get this straight, if the horse had been caught and loaded to run i would of most probably kept that profit. If this is the case its a non runner Void Bet/Trade etc why is it when we have a BF black out we lose our money in open positions and have to go to the loo if its a big liability lol, they should return that surely that's void Bet, but then again the bet was taken and race run, tuff one

Betfair don't and never have said they facilitate trades (ie two related bets) you place your bet and if you don't get chance to bet again then whatever. But you can mitigate the risk of being exposed due to outages by lodging a closing bet at SP when place any prior bet. If a bet has been received by Betfair before an outage they honour it. If you don't need that bet later, cancel it. But if you wait to close/hedge then if course you carry that exposure risk.

When it looks like a horse might be withdrawn, take a look at the frantic action on the others as people try to manipulate the rule 4.

I know the feeling — riding high one second, then poof, profit gone.
It’s the uncertainty that makes it so frustrating.
Should be one rule across the board. It’s especially rough when you’ve greened up fair and square before it all goes sideways.
