My take on data is that it's a confirmation of perceived behavioural activity. You (one) can't simply mine data and expect the data to deliver a strategy. It starts with a strategy idea (often behavioural) and the data tells you the most effective way to execute it.

The issue I find with some who just use data, is that they only see the numbers, but the numbers are just a reflection of the actual activity in the real world, not a world of their own. Understanding behaviour is fine, understanding data is fine, but together they add up to more than the sum of their parts.

Back to the original question: Peter I've never seen you discuss it but how do you approach a market if the fave is 1.5 vs 3.0 or 6.0? Presumably those markets are very different?
