Are they being forced to do it? My heart bleeds. They should try working on the bins or in a care home and see how hard that is.
But isn't this just another case of gambling..... Spending money and making an effort hoping to get paid way more than that amount of effort should. Ie trying to become a multimillionaire for playing a ball game?

Personally I've never won a penny trading, in the same way your plumber hasn't 'won' any money plumbing. Punters win money, traders earn it.

It’s really easy to underestimate just how good players ranked 100–300 in the world are. I remember going to Wimbledon in 2013 on a trip (played for my school at the time). Spent the whole day on the outer courts. Seeing these ‘bad’ players up close, I realised: yeah… pro tennis ain’t for me. They are just a different class of good
