Yeah when both those players are in the market it makes it tricky to read. Wish I had taken day off, losing day here.

Can't say I have ever seen them both in the same market at the same time?

Hi Andy, never noticed you replied till today. I didn't mean similtaneously, I just meant they appeared to be operating in the same markets, not at the exact same time.

Dr Red eye was bombed on that last race and Eastern hills was being held in place. It's amazing to see how many prices are being jumbled up now in these weaker markets.

Bit of flashing on the 15.20, not huge stakes though.

I've seen it on multiple runners in the same race before. I saw it on The Donserelli in the last, the same one you saw it on?

I am surprised that some people still believe it's some sort of trading strategy. I am fairly certain just someone (or various individuals) with lots of money having a huge punt on the favourite.

I think you've got a bit mixed up re the flashing spoofer... it's an automated, lay based, trading strategy. Re mad bombing... it's a back based trading strategy imho (easily confused with true big backing which is essentially their edge).

Can't say I agree. I don't see either as a trading strategy. They create a trading strategy however.

we may never know for sure! obviously with the bombing some of it is just backing, but for me it's just too consistent.

the mad bomber is a straight backer no trader, this was proved when he had 30k on a horse inrunning even when the comm said the horse was making errors he held the price even bring it down.

After a long period of no activity I see this tactic is back on the 13:25 at Newbury. 'Global Power' was getting money put in and pulled at one second intervals pre-off in this race.
