I'm guessing that this means that Betfair won't stop acting like a bookmaker anytime soon...

Not sure what to make of that appointment. I guess we will know fairly quickly as CEO's tend to want to stamp their authority on the business fairly quickly.

I can see why they were attracted to him. Paddy Power have gone from being just an Irish betting shop chain, to a major online bookmaker in a very short space of time.

What his plans are for BF's model though remains to be seen
