I'm not using a VPN and have access via their website also i have tried turning off Anti virus software as well all to no avail

For anyone getting 403, are you using a VPN? If so, can you try without the VPN? It's possible VPN traffic is being mis-identified.

All your Betfair activity (including logging on) is done via a direct secure connection from your PC to Betfairs servers so will be unaffected by any problems with ours.

However each time you login a separate call is made to one of our servers just to authenticate you have an active BA subscription, the server that was responsible for granting permission wasn't doing so, hence you were denied access.

It's odd why we keep getting attacked, there is nothing on the main site or here worth attacking.

If the repeating attacks are impacting user access as well it probably makes rival vendors the likeliest suspects? If the motive is to drive users to switch platforms etc.

Looks like nowadays just about anyone can cheaply order attacks thanks to the emergence of these "stresser" type services.
