Hi,

During the summer I have made a football quiz website. My plan to was to promote it in Facebook groups for individual football clubs. Generally it has gone quite well with people posting screenshots of t heir results in the comments. However, there are a lot of genuine scam websites on Facebook and junk clickbait.

My plan is to add a function where people can register and make their own quizzes that they can share with their friends. However, I still need a way to promote it.

I was self-employed for 3 years selling on Amazon and eBay but had to stop when the pandemic started. I would love to get back into it but with my own website that I can control.

Any suggestions please/

Pay for advertising if you want to promote something, that's how it's worked for about 100 years.

The pandemic was a golden period for eBay and Amazon, sounds like an odd time to stop. Most resellers quadrupled their income during this time.

Why do I keep getting JustLukeYou vibes from Garethp123? All this sounds very familiar.

Wasn't Luke also doing the same eBay thing just before Covid while he was active here in 2019?

I did a quick little comparison between opening posts and see both made threads about trading accas and each have several threads that start with "So..." 🤔

If I were really bored I'd probably run some posts through AI for comparison!

I had to stop selling online full time as I got a heart infection from coronavirus. Took around 2.5 years to get over it.

That sounds rough, so does that mean you're JustLukeYou then?

Wow

Just had a quick check and turns out it actually was JustLukeYou posting under a new name

I'd forgotten we ended up referring to "Luke" as Gareth after these revelations in 2019 : viewtopic.php?p=204013#p204013

Yesterday I came across his quiz website and FB quiz posts under a Gareth P. (not going to doxx his full name), so: JustLukeYou = Garethp123 = Gareth P.

Guess that explains why he posted in Derek's thread there, since they were "archrivals" in his eyes

Derek would have sussed him out immediately, he knew him better than himself after those endless threads

Quite funny how both times Gareth got up to 27 threads before getting banned
