Hi everyone,
I am doing my betting by automation and I’m asking for slightly bigger odds on a few horses a few minutes before the off.
Is it possible that when some of my bets only get partially matched I can keep them and take SP?
I don’t want to keep the unmatched ones just the partially matched ones.
Thanks
Paul.
Settling partially matched bets at SP.
Morning Dallas,
apologies for reaching out but you seem to be the go to guy for automation.
I have been using a geeks toy with pretty good success but the constant fatigue of sifting through every market is killing me. I want to automate a rule that if the score is 3 goals with a pre-determined amount of time left in the game place a back bet over 3.5 of the total score. Can you please help. I'm sure its easy but at the moment I can't see the forest through the trees.
thanks in advance

Hi Dallas,
I’ve tried this but sometimes it takes SP on all the runners instead of just the partially matched ones.
Regards
Paul.

Sometimes? More like always. Can't be done, it treats partially matched as unmatched.pollyplops wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 10:41 amHi Dallas,

You could cancel the fully unmatched bets just before off-time.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 11:36 amSometimes? More like always. Can't be done, it treats partially matched as unmatched.pollyplops wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 10:41 amHi Dallas,

I thought partially unmatched and fully unmatched were treated the same way?jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 1:28 pmYou could cancel the fully unmatched bets just before off-time.

Yes but you could set all bets to 'take SP on all unmatched', but then cancel all the fully unmatched bets before in-play. As long as you have a way to distinguish between the two.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 1:44 pmI thought partially unmatched and fully unmatched were treated the same way?jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 1:28 pmYou could cancel the fully unmatched bets just before off-time.
