Extra 'silks' custom column

Hi Dallas,

I'd like to add an additional 'silks' column on my one click screen which stretches all the way across my monitor, just for ease of quickly checking silks (i can have another column at the end).

The 'Display Additional Information' dropdown on the custom column maker has just about every default column except the silks. Is it somewhere I'm missing?

You can resize any column by pointing your cursor at the sides of the column header and when you see 2 small arrows appear hold your left mouse button down and drag it to the desired size

Its worth noting that the actual silks are just image files downloaded from Betfair so they are a fixed size

I don't think you can do this, which is a shame as it's something I would like to do too. Currently I make do with triplicated saddle cloth colours.

I only trade Aus races inplay (I can't get a feed for UK races that isn't 10 secs behind ) and unfortunately Aust gallops do not have different saddle cloth colours.

Harness races do and I use that almost exclusively rather than silks.

I don't want to resize the column, I want a second column of silks which I can't find how to get. It seems it is a default column you can uncheck, but I cannot add it as a custom column whereas it appears I can add saddle cloth numbers, runners name etc by creating a custom column and using 'display additional information' to customize the column.

As an aside, I see there is an option where you can use silk images obtained from an outside source. Where do you find those images and how do you import them into BetAngel?

You could pay for drone feed. Much better than normal pan streams, but pricey.

OK i see what you mean now

Because the silks are imported as images they are slightly different to the other options in that the url BF is hosting them is needed which will be why they've never been added as an option in the custom column editor

I'm not sure where you would import your own silks from but even if you found a source there isn't the option for you to add the host location within the custom column editor or anywhere in BA
As a commercial product if this was made available within Bet Angel it would facilitate users to scrape/import data from a range of illegal sources and/or without permission and agreements from the legal owners of the data so its not something that would ever be added in a future update

I think the OP, primarily, just wants to be able to duplicate the existing silks column. This would make accurate horse identification quicker and easier when working on a complex one-click screen. Is it something that could be added to a future release?
