Stored values win and place markets

Hi,

I'm after some help as can't get a couple of automation files working, tried very hard and read loads of threads but bets not triggering.

I want to place a lay win bet in the horse win market (this part is working fine) and also a lay bet in the place market but only if the odds in the win market are less than 10.0. This is to be applied across multiple selections, the selections are driven by a stored value from a file (again, this part is working fine).

Tried changing the stored value for price between current selection and event and neither work. when i use current selection it does seem to store all the horse prices but i can't seem to get the place market bet to trigger from it. Not sure if it's because i have two stored value conditions in the place file but they do have different names so thought that would be fine

I've attached my two BAF files - would really appreciate if somebody could take a look to see what i'm doing wrong

Still can't get it working, think it's because i have multiple runners i want it applying to (selections not known until near the off as based on odds) and not just one nominated one.

For example i load say 9 selections in via a file for a race, of which 3-4 may trigger a bet in the win market if under 10.0, i then want to trigger a bet in the place market on these same selections

You need to save a stored value at "event level" for it to communicate between the win and place markets.

If it's as simple as just placing a lay in the place market whenever you place a lay in the win market, then just add a stored value at event level to the trigger line in the win market. eg "bet placed" = 1. Then in the place market all you have to do is set a rule line that triggers a lay on the condition that the "bet placed" stored value = 1.

I still can't get this working - i must be doing something stupid but it's doing my head in. tried workarounds and all sorts but just can't get it to work how i want it to.

This is my set up and what i do currently.

I enter my selections into a spreadsheet - all correct format and working fine
These are imported into both win and place markets using stored value approach
As an example i may import 8 horses into one race and a lay bet is triggered in the win market if the odds are under 10.0, usually this is 3-4 bets triggered. i then want to lay these same horses in the place market, either by some rule that captures my matched bets in win market or by stored value of the price

i just can't get the place part working - i've read loads of forum posts and looked at examples sent below and automation file examples but they all seem to be if you have a specific one horse i.e nominated selection. i don't know my exact selections until 1 min before the off and they are often several.

anybody who can help further it would be much appreciated - i shared my current baf files in my original post

Easiest way to do this is to only upload your selections to the win market, then store an SV at event level equal to the relevant selection IDs. These can then be read in the place market and duplicate the win bets accordingly.

This gets a little more complicated when you are uploading multiple selections at the same time but I think I've done it here. Run this against both Win and Place markets. Make sure you run in practise mode until you are sure it's doing what you expect.

Absolute legend - just tested it and looks to work exactly what i was trying to get to. i'm just going to change the bet rules to 1 min before the off rather than always armed and i think i'm good to go with it.
