I used to get offered various withdrawal methods e.g. Paypal, BACS etc., which I never used. But now there's only one option: direct to my bank account. Doesn't adversely affect me (for now), but it seems a touch worrisome.
Don't you have the option of registering cards?

What about e-wallets like Neteller?

It's all AML. To use other methods to withdraw you need to first use them to deposit.

Three other options have just reappeared - the Other Methods panel was blank earlier, hence my post. Probably just another BF glitch, like the Euros one where hardly any matches are shown as Live on TV, which is how I search for matches.

Strangely, Paypal is offered even though I'm sure I've never deposited using them.

What’s the advice for changing address on Betfair?

Remember seeing some horror stories of getting your account locked when changing it so wondering the best way to do it?

My was recently closed when attempting to complete my KYC. I provided and ID, selfie and bank statement. No reason was given for the closure. Does anyone know who I can contact since customer support will not help with the matter?

I recently had my account closed for what seems to be no reason and I am not also having the same CS issue where they will not answer my questions. Does anyone know who I can contact to get this fixed?

Sorry to hear that but that's not much info, please see this post a few pages back : viewtopic.php?p=352017#p352017

My account would have stayed closed as well if I didn't contact BDP (iirc), due to a random error on their end SMH... and I know of others who wouldn't get their acc back had they not emailed Peter Jackson to expedite their issue whatever it was, unless you prefer waiting for potentially months to some sort of reply via standard channels

You already know if you've done anything "wrong", or if you've had issues with other bookies maybe, idk how much data they share amongst each other but others might know this if it's relevant

I already spoke to three different agents, and all three said that my account will be closed and I can't do anything about it. But thanks for the tips and for spendig time to help me.
Never accept live chat statements as final, the agents aren't privy to much info and don't hold much authority either, you could speak to 30 of them and get nowhere.

Also, don't assume Hungary is automatically the problem, they should have communicated this beforehand if that were the case.

I suggest to read this entire thread and then escalate by emailing your issue to all these below, hopefully it lands in the right department (which often seems to be the main issue)

Great post Kai, thanks, I will be using it immediately. My problem is they 'discovered' I had more than one account (something they knew about in 2010 when I had correspondence with them over if I could structure my multiple accounts within one login like different wallets) Following their 'discovery' they closed the 'multiples' leaving me with one account advising the balances in the closed accounts would be amalgamated to the remaining account but they didn't and I can't get CS to acknowledge this.

Thank you for the help. I was actually able to get a hold of the BF complaint department. They were able to foward my compaint and I just need to provide updated KYC. Not sure why they closed the account instead just reaching out. Customer service was of no help. Which seems to be the theme

Modern business philosophy ... new customers are cheaper to acquire than retaining existing customers. It's a downside on the internet. Gone is needing to have expensive advertising/marketing campaigns when all you need is a website.

Have just updated my mobile number to new one and automatically got logged out then received "account closed" notification.
Clicked on contact support, their auto-response was "permanently self-excluded".
Pointed out to them all I did was update my phone number to my new number, if I had self-excluded then how have I been betting for the last number of years up until I've updated to an entirely new phone number.

They've now passed me to a safer gambling queue.

I deposited a sizeable amount a month ago near the end of the month after having withdrawn over twice the deposit amount earlier in the month, got flagged to safer gambling and spent about 2 hours on live chat. They'll ask you questions and they already know the answer to them (ie how much have you deposited in the last 12 months).

And the only reason my acct is still open is because I'm in profit IMO, if I was in small loss then the acct would be gonski.

I was thinking about this only the other day. If I ever change my number or move house, what happens if this flags up on their system as a duplicate account, or even worse, the account of someone who has self-excluded.

The whole thing is such a glorious mess!

Hope you get this resolved as painlessly as possible.
