Chris Wilder return to Sheff Utd? ...again?...maybe?...
Anyone else bet on the Preston v Middlesborough game?
There was an issue with the markets and they didn't suspend on the third or fourth goals. I just got shafted out of £500 by betfair because they voided all bets placed (in match odds and OU3.5 markets) after the third goal (2.17pm) in the Preston game.
I wasn't sniping, just betting at normal unders prices between the third and fourth goals, well after the third goal went in.
Sketchy and lame to have a big winner voided.
BFCS gave me £50 bonus as compensation. I always feel that when bets are voided after the event, it rarely goes in my favour (maybe just bias!). Would my bets have been voided if there were no fourth goal and I had lost, who knows?

It's real bummer when that happens. But I think there is a tendancy to remember when it goes against you and forget when it goes in your favour, perhaps. Hopefully it will even out for you super quick.Nacho wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 3:56 pmAnyone else bet on the Preston v Middlesborough game?

Thanks Peter, appreciate the Pep talk.
It's annoying because I've seen it happen dozens of times that the markets don't suspend on a goal. I've never seen them just void all remaining bets for the duration of the game on multiple markets. Normally they just void the sniping bets around the goal.
Difficult for them when the suspension fails though because they have to draw a line somewhere and there will always be those who benefit and those who suffer.
On to the next!

Seems to be an ongoing issue with Football markets going inplay ...
You would thing once the match odds market going inplay the rest would be linked but no...
(some Celtic Vigo markets inplay, others not)

Oh noes, even more Liverpool fans... this is terrible news for the thread
Big improvements defensively in the last two games, but that 1st half was slow to put it mildly. The opening spell of the 2nd half though gave a glimpse of what the team should play like once fully up to speed

Very underwhelming 3 halves of football in the Prem so far today.
Can't see Utd getting anything from the derby the way they're playing. Harry in the 93rd minute maybe. Dorgu and Foden have shown up but the vast majority of the players look like they've post-international hangovers.
