Re: Movement Tracker
I;ve created different time settings in guardian for Movement Tracker, Which all work. My problem is I want 3 columns running side by side with different times settings, I tried creating a custom file with the information Dallas give in the attachment below but I must be missing something out. Is there a simple way getting the files I've created in Guardian (Rules file name ) into the columns.

Assuming they are saved as different stored value names and stored at selection level then you can create a column on the one-click screen for each time period that look up the relevant stored value.Joeh74 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 19, 2025 6:14 pmI;ve created different time settings in guardian for Movement Tracker, Which all work. Thanks James for answering. I copied saved the original current rules as a different file name. Change to 2 minutes before the start of the race In General, I change the arm trigger times 2 minutes before the race this worked.
Then I put the four extension that Dallas suggested which I thought was in (Stored value a named )I added @2
For some reason it didn’t work so I took them off and it worked again ok.
I then created two columns, tried to insert them with the above changes but to no avail, can’t get them to work.
James I know it’s probably something simple. I’m missing out. Been trying to solve the bugger for three days
when you say chance the store value name is it the one under stored value (Store a value named) where I added @2 ? and what is store at selection level?

Attach your rulesfile here and hopefully someone can find the issue.Joeh74 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 5:36 pmThanks James for answering. Ok i’ll do it in order:
1st
I copied the original which was set at 20 minutes before the race. I did this by clicking on the black disc at top which says (saved the current rules as a different file name.) new File name movement Indicators 2 which was set 2minutes before the start of the race. This worked great and on the one click screen it was in custom columns. All the different times I created in guardian automation worked but only through movement indicators 2. In custom columns.
2nd step
Next I copied with 3minutes before the start race. I named it MI3 Using the above formula Which again worked fine, to form second column I tried it Dallas answer to Mdave1 who seemed to have the same problems forming extra columns
Dallas answer to Mdave 1
Duplicate the existing four rules and rename all of the stored values used
for example you could use 'opening_ip@10', 'opening_vwap@10', 'current_ip@10' and 'current_vwap@10'
I changed mine to
'opening_ip@3', 'opening_vwap@3', 'current_ip@3' and 'current_vwap@3'
This stopped the program from working, I thought maybe I have to upload it to another column to work. I added two more columns tried to upload it still don’t work. The two new columns just showed the odds.

It's hard to find the issue from screenshots. You can upload the .baf rulesfile here as an attachment so we can download and interrogate it for issues.Joeh74 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 5:29 pmOk i’ll do it in order:

James the top works, but its not loaded in columns the one named Movement Indicators 3 2nd row, doesn't work thats the one I tried to load in 8&9 columns by changing the name they appeared but only show the odds.
'opening_ip@3', 'opening_vwap@3', 'current_ip@3' and 'current_vwap@3'
'opening_ip@3', 'opening_vwap@3', 'current_ip@3' and 'current_vwap@3'

It looks to me like you're getting yourself into a muddle by including apostrophes and commas in some of your stored values. Just use opening_IP@3 etc.Joeh74 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 23, 2025 2:34 pmJames the top works, but its not loaded in columns the one named Movement Indicators 3 2nd row, doesn't work thats the one I tried to load in 8&9 columns by changing the name they appeared but only show the odds.
Movement Indicators 3.baf
'opening_ip@3', 'opening_vwap@3', 'current_ip@3' and 'current_vwap@3'
Make sure you're updating the SVs in the calculation element too. eg I'm guessing this is supposed to read opening_VWAP@3 ?
To make the stored value appear in a column on the one-click screen you must have the SV copied exactly the same to make it appear. This is why I suspect your issue is around the apostrophes and commas. They must match exactly.

Thank you James for your patience, I am definitely in a muddle
I just copied what Dallas did, 'opening_ip@10', 'opening_vwap@10', 'current_ip@10' and 'current_vwap@10', with apostrophes and commas, I've deleted them now, Dallas said Duplicate the existing four rules. Do I add two more were you've circled (Another stored value) with @3 which would total 6 changes not 4.

I don't think he meant you to copy the apostrophes and commas.Joeh74 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 23, 2025 4:31 pmThank you James for your patience, I am definitely in a muddleI just copied what Dallas did, 'opening_ip@10', 'opening_vwap@10', 'current_ip@10' and 'current_vwap@10', with apostrophes and commas, I've deleted them now, Dallas said Duplicate the existing four rules. This looks ok. Is it working now for these SVs on the one-click screen? Once you have these working then you can add as many additional SVs as you like, just follow the same process.
