I love the Ryder Cup as it's everything that golf normally isn't. It's a great show.

It was a brilliant opening day, though I have to say, I think the vast majority of the PGA tournaments I’ve watched and traded this year have been tremendously entertaining. There’s only been a runaway winner on a couple of occasions. Most of the time there’s drama right up until the final day. That said, I particularly loved how the morning crowd went quiet when the American were getting tanked in three matches!

I hope we’re in for another cracker at Bethpage on Saturday. I got the hang of the markets once I decided to avoid the outright winner. It was slow going, though, exacerbated by the fact I had lots of little greens over a number of markets. It was only at the end of the day that I could look at the total and think, “Oh, that’s not bad!” I trust you’re smashing it, Peter, as per normal! 😎

Will Scheffler manage a point today? Or even a half? I’d fancy my chances against him when he’s dressed in Ryder Cup kit! 😋

Never traded these markets before but was really surprised at the lack of movement on the Tie - came in a couple of ticks...

Just over £1m matched day 1.

Is what golfers (and there wives) wear a thing? Certainly seemed to be amongst the commentators !

(no wonder there are folk running about with air guns on Scottish corporation golf courses!)

Good to see some football chants in the crowd yesterday:
"USA USA USA"
"USA gets battered, everywhere they go, USA gets battered everywhere they gooooo, everywhere they goooo"

Thinking of buying a containerload of vuvuzelas for the Ryder Cup in Adare in a couple of years to give out to European fans entering. "US..BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"
"US..BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"
They might be forced to learn new chants :o

He'd playing like a man on a mission at the moment, afternoon/late session with Lowry could be a cracker. Other lineups look brilliant too, dinner is on and the cans are open :P
