On closer look he wasn't being a brat there, I believe he's just playing 4D chess to guarantee Isak starts the next cup game so he can keep his place in the league and CL 👍

Except it doesn't work like that.

He is

I think he simply just forgot about his yellow, as idiotic as that sounds :D Maybe he was peeved off that Isak came off so early which meant he would start against Palace again as well, but who knows.

I'd be fuming if I was Arne, you carefully manage everyone's minutes and then someone does this. Someone will have to fill in for Isak up front because he can't handle the full 90 vs Palace.

At least the games are never boring 🤷‍♂️

It's so weird that all these players who were utter shite at Man Utd turn up good as soon as they leave.

Ange-ball 1st half, Nuno-ball 2nd half

Yep, Antony has been a revelation at Betis, I couldn't believe the worldies he was scoring in his first games... McTerminator won Serie A and was probably the best player in the league, look at Rashford now etc

I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this, but if Man Utd sack another manager I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference.

I feel they should be looking at someone like Oliver Glasner who is doing amazing things at Palace and looks ready for a top job (certainly moans enough), they rank 1st in the league based off performance metrics, and top 4 in this calendar year... I forget the numbers but they're on a crazy unbeaten run, particularly against top 6 opposition

But I think much of that is down to Guehi as well, reminds me of Van Dijk who has a similar aura presence in every defence he played, they sort of make everyone around them better

I've long held an opinion that whilst Fernades is about the attitudes will not change. his behaviours and antics on field are not the examples of a leader. Also couple that with still using slow players like Maguire and Shaw, and a manager that is so stubborn in his lack of flexibility - progress will be long time coming.

When De Ligt went to Man U I thought that he could be a good sign of things to come, but he's just been stagnant as well.

I think I also seen that getting rid of the manager before Nov will cost them a minimum of £15m

No European football next season would be very detrimental to the club, so something needs to change soon......

Completely agree, Fernandes on-pitch attitude makes him the most unsuitable captain of any team that I can remember. The arm throwing and shouting at people only works if it's positive and bringing the team up a la Keane/Gerrard/Viera.
For all the abuse Maguire has gotten and fans begging to get rid of him, he's been one of their most consistent performers in recent years: 80% ok/20% car crash.
Dorgu has looked decent in what I've seen of him and Mbeumo has been brilliant the last couple of years, you don't become a bad player overnight so I think it's a round peg in a square hole situation for him and a few of their squad. That said, I think any manager coming up against them fancies their chances when they see De Ligt/Shaw/Dalot/Ugarte are starting.

Edit - forgot to mention the 15m payoff for being a shit Man U manager - ChatGPT please update my CV so I'll be a suitable candidate for Man U manager ;)
