VOLUME IN Group Races

Is it me or has the Volume in these big races reduced GP1 & 2 . Staking now one has got to be more conservative or you will get caught if you have to get out, but punters come late and moves play out but seems like Ascot Cheltenham is where the big guns are Difficult one

It's your imagination to some extent. Races vary a lot over the year, despite all being marked group 1.

But on a Saturday volume can get eaten away from them by other races clashing.

Overall, the volume on pattern races is still very strong.
