Servant related to Money waiting

Hello all,

I'm not new to Betfair trading but I'm a raw hand at automation and servants. Currently I trade entirely manually, a mixture of scalping and general opportunism. My eyes are not what they once were and I never had the reactions of a fighter pilot anyway, so I'm looking to servants to sharpen up on the execution of my trades.

My first effort is to construct a servant that will place a back bet when the money waiting on the lay side reduces to a given figure., zero, £25 whatever. This is it ....

It doesn't work, just places a back bet willy nilly with no regard to the money waiting condition. I don't look on the servant as it's currently constructed as the finished article, it obviously needs to be modified with regard to market conditions and circumstance, I just wanted to establish the principle of having a servant stand by, monitoring the queue and taking appropriate action when a value was passed. Ideally I'd like to use a % rather than a fixed value but right now I don't see how that can be done.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

After a quick try out the mods in V2 don't quite give me what I'm looking for .. the stake is fixed at £1 (which I didn't know was possible), and the best odds available condition doesn't allow me to park the servant lying in wait in in chosen places on the ladder away from the touching point .

As I said this servant isn't an end in itself, just a trigger that can be pulled in other servants with more capabilities.

I'll have a twiddle with v2 and see what I can make of it; again thanks for having a go.

You can make the stake whatever you want.

I don't use servants on the ladder so I don't know how these work. But you could try reverting the price back to 'servant context price' and see if that does what you are looking for.
