"woke" means being alert to racial and social injustice, encompassing awareness of systemic inequalities and discriminationForFolksSake wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 10:21 amCheltenham Festival reinstates Ladies Day after ditching tradition for woke 'Style Wednesday'
Reinstating "ladies" day is the very definition of "woke"...
Good to see you support it...
PS: maybe start a "woke" thread rather than pollute the trading ones?

Shame about the stewards at Pont 17:38. I did really well to pick out the winner before the slo-mo, but had to bail out in the stewards for a much smaller green.

RTV presenter says he "doubts they will overturn the result". That will be a DQ then!jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 5:53 pmShame about the stewards at Pont 17:38. I did really well to pick out the winner before the slo-mo, but had to bail out in the stewards for a much smaller green.

From my best ever day at the beginning of the week to struggling to earn a crust at the end. Amazing how things can ebb and flow in this game. Everything winning easily from the front today is no good for my game.
Always amazes me how day to day results can change, shows how having confidence in what you do helps so much as being scared of the market is a bad place to be.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 4:20 pmFrom my best ever day at the beginning of the week to struggling to earn a crust at the end.
