Betfair in-play betting via VPN

Hello. Since New Zealand banned all overseas betting companies including betfair, we can't connect to New Zealand vpn anymore for in-play betting in Australia. Any one knows any workaround for this? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. There's nothing in that thread regarding vpn usage.

If you are in Australian you can use a VPS to bet inplay on sports you would normally have to phone up to bet on.
No idea how this affects NZ accounts, but based on the discussion on the other threads. You are just shut out of the exchange full stop unless you get an account in Australia.

My account is Australian. I don't have a PC so can't use betangel. Someone mentioned that new Zealand vpn still works but don't know if it's safe to use or not since there's no betfair in New Zealand anymore. I don't want my account to get blocked.

I wrote something in the betfair australia in play trading forum.
VPN does not work it may say your in another country then betfair will ring you to confirm where you actually are and if you say the country your vpn in located then you get in trouble for not notifying them that your trading from overseas. Betfair have the technology to know where you are, I told them i was in london and they knew i wasnt and i was using a vpn. I was warned and they did say normally no warnings they just close the account.
Betfair VPS seems to work well i used it before the vpn for awhile no issues. But because of my fuk up with the vpn(cheaper option) Im too worried about trying the VPS again. Probably be safe but if my account was cancelled with no other exchanges in australia trading will be finished for me.
Personally I now only trade pre race and in play on races but other sports i dont even bother thinking about it
