I appreciate any help from whoever can help me with this. Basically what I want to do is to discount very weak favs from a strategy I'm working on. I found three times today a very weak favourite (basically one that drifts for several price increments in the liveshow) let me down with my in running strategy. It's like the market knows they will run a terrible race and they just drift, start terribly and never return in price.

Doesn't always happen but too often. So how would I discount a weak drifting favourite from my strategy? I'm thinking of taking a price snapshot of all runners maybe ten mins before the off? Then if the SP favourite (my strategy is based on the SP fav) is a certain percentage higher than it was when that snapshot was taken, then it doesn't meet the condition to be a bet? Say if it's drifted to a 25%+ higher price? How would I implement that condition? Or is there a better way to do this? And I'm a bit hazy with stored values I can't really understand that yet.

Any help appreciated.

I looked into it a bit and the easiest way I have found to do it is with the 'historic relative odds condition'. So I set it so the the Selection A 'in position 1 in order of favouritism' last traded price now is less than or equal to selection B 'in position 1 in order of favouritism' last traded price 600 seconds ago plus 15 percent. So does that mean it will only place the bet on the favourite is the favourites price is under 15% higher than it's price 600 seconds ago? If so, how does it know what the price was 600 seconds ago? down it automatically keep log that, when that condition is set? And also it's looking at position 1 in order of favouritism but what if that changes in the interim?
