just imagine if the fav had unseated instead of the outsider did coming out of the stalls in the 1st at Hamilton , would have been the biggest conspiracy theory ever

Brighton stewards.

Looked worse side-on. Front-on they both drifted across the course simultaneously and only nudged twice.

Keeps it in my opinion.

Been a few weeks since a failure to weigh in. How can it possibly happen?

Down Royal 15:49
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Clerk of the Scales, Mr. D. Maher, regarding the failure of J.A. Heffernan, rider of Perfect Base, placed fourth to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that this was completely an error on his part and accepted full responsibility. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards using their powers under Rule 230(ii), disqualified Perfect Base from fourth place. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion J.A Heffernan was in breach of Rule 230(ii). Having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for four racedays and ordered him to forfeit his riding fee. In coming to their decision the Raceday Stewards took into account both the loss of prize money and the seniority of the rider concerned.

Why does Kempton behave so weirdly? Even by AW standards, it's always so....weird

Kempton 19:30, someone tried to trick the market by dumping £5k into the late withdrawal about 1f out, and taking it down to 1.01. I don't remember ever seeing this actually work. Cross matching switched off for in-play, of course, so they're relying on someone manually pushing the price out of the real winner as a result.

1.01 down for a couple of hundred on Dark Sorceress @ Kempton 20:30. Eventually finished 3rd and was never closer than half a length down! :?

Not this one, this was a genuine move. He came rushing forward 2f out and looked the likely winner. Never should have reached 1.01 though.
