How do I set this up correctly?

I want to find the money above the best price and the best lay price.

For best back price I go money available at best back price, but if i go best back price plus one tick is just puts that sum of money above that price level with that value. (NOT GOOD).

If I do 2nd best back it find the second best back 4 ticks above the best back, but it doesnt account for the prices with no money in (NOT GOOD!)

Seems to be a right headache. but how do i just do best back price and then see if the tick above has any money one it and then the price above etc. Annoying when things dont do what you think they should do....

anyone able to tell me what to do please. rather frustating

You won’t find money above the best back price, unless you’re looking for pennies.
You probably mean best back price – 1 tick. Store that as a SV, then use that SV to look up the money available.

You won't find any money at +1 tick. Here I bring back the money available at both +1 and -1 ticks so you can see how it works.

I think you need to re-screw your head on today!

There will not be any money at best back price + 1 tick, because if there was then it would be the best back price.

Wait I thought +1 tick or 10+ is the ticks above the best back price? so if odds are at 4 then 10 ticks above that is 10+?

And the opposite to be true for -Ticks is 4 then it would be 10 ticks below ?

hence why I'm confused as the + in my head means 1 tick above the best back price?

I think you just have your "above" and "below"s mixed up. 1 tick above 4.0 is 4.1. 1 tick below is 3.95.

I thought the best best lay and best back we're the oppsite way round. I use to use geeks toy and its the opposite way (is my excuse anyway... or its a silly learning cuvre )
