Hi, apologies' if this has been asked before but how do you convert Distance Behind Leader from meters to lengths? I've set up the Distance Behind Leader from the custom columns but cant find a way to make the calculation. I don't like judging the distance in meters. Any help or advice gratefully received!

A length in racing, is actually a measure of time these days. But for the purposes of your calculations you could assume about 2.6m?

So multiply the distance behind leader by 2.6 and you're there.

Thanks James, is there anyway to show the result of this calculation on Bet Angel? I used to use Bet Mover and that already showed the length beaten in it's interface I'm trying to replicate that on my one click screen.

I see. In order to do this you will need a rulefile running in Guardian. You would create a stored value = distance to leader * 2.6.

It may seem like a lot of work to get up to speed, but the power of what you can do with TPD data in Guardian is huge, and well worth the time investment.
