...these would still be very useful additions - the In-play Trader is being left behind with its functionality - SAVE THE IN-PLAY TRADER! MAKE IT GREAT AGAIN!Tuco wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 2:47 pmAs well as sorting by the additional first and last names mentioned above, sorting by P&L would be welcome sorting additions to the above:
Sort by First Name (Ascending)
Sort by First Name (Descending)
Sort by Last Name (Ascending)
Sort by Last Name (Descending)
Sort by P&L (Ascending)
Sort by P&L (Descending)
...and also adding
Custom ticks inside best REVERSE market price
Custom ticks outside best REVERSE market price
would be welcome additions to the in-play Trader odds setting choices - all of which you can already do on the one-click screen and ladder![]()
In-play Trader
I'd really like this suggestion to be adopted - it will make the IN-PLAY TRADER GREAT AGAIN! and I would use it every single day!Tuco wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 1:12 pmMany thanks for your replies Dabbla. It is thinking outside of the box that earns me my money!
Your example with the blacked out odds is not what I was meaning.
When using the ticks outside the best market price (skip gaps) option, all I was wanting is when the mouse is hovered over the selection name, for the selection name to have a coloured rectangle around it to give full confidence that you are about to place bets on the correct selection rather than on an incorrect other selection. Yes the selection name is at the bottom of the In-play Trader column, but that is some distance from the top selection in a field of 40 or more and wastes valuable time looking down for confirmation. When using the One-click screen, the odds you are hovering over are highlighted with a blue border - this or similar is what I would like around the selection name in the In-play Trader and if the selected name can be emboldened and the box filled with a light colour, all the better. On the Ladder screen, every active cell is highlighted with a shaded colour when hovering on it. Even the 'Market Overview' screen puts thick blue rectangles around the title names at the top of the columns when you hover over them - this is so when clicked they will sort the overview in that order.
Also, my suggestion is that a left-click would BACK the highlighted selection (as it already does) and a right-click would 'Bookmake' LAY all of the other selections with a single right-click, in a similar way to the bookmaking tab, ie different stakes for laying the different odds for the different selections. Separate options for ticks outside the best market price (skip gaps) for back and lay are needed to achieve this as I might back at 50 ticks (skip gaps) outside the best back market price but only lay 5 ticks (skip gaps) outside the best lay market price. (Just be sure to do this on the correct selection!)
The new bet placement option in the drop-down would be:
"Left-click BACK current selection, Right-click LAY all other selections"
or better still:
"Left-click BACK current selection and LAY all other selections"
This would make the In-play Trader a very powerful in-play trading screen, whereas currently it is more or less just another way to place back or lay bets.
Oh just one more thing as the Lieutenant would say, in the In-play Trader settings, could we possibly have row spacings of 18 and 20 added to the drop-down list to allow more selections into a single view on a screen.
Thanking you in advance![]()
Pretty please BA
