Hi
Guys and ladies, is there a way when you load markets in Guardian it can have a specific colour for Handicap markets or would one have to do that manually on the morning prep

I don't think you can use value based colour by text but you can by number. So you'd have to create a column with a numerical stored value based on the type of race and use value based colours to colour that column accordingly.
James thanks, that sounds a little technical if there are any in the downloads would be happy to import and play and adjustjamesedwards wrote: ↑Fri Nov 21, 2025 8:31 pmI don't think you can use value based colour by text but you can by number. You need to create a stored value that = 1 on condition that market name contains the text "hcap".Alpha322 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 21, 2025 9:15 pmJames thanks, that sounds a little technical if there are any in the downloads would be happy to import and play and adjustjamesedwards wrote: ↑Fri Nov 21, 2025 8:31 pmI don't think you can use value based colour by text but you can by number. Then create a custom column in Guardian that displays the stored value. Then amend the colour of that custom column to 'value based' using one colour if the SV = 0 and another if the SV = 1.
eg I do this to differentiate by colour between US & UK, and Win & Place markets.

You can colour text.
Go to the (Store value as text) page.
Tick (tag the text held in the SV with a number) and enter a value.
That value is then used for the Value base colour. It’s not a SV.
See the help icon.
