I think they call it mean reversion. ;) And the secret of success for any team is the good fortune to score 2 each game rather a run of 0s and 4s.

Football should have half the league points derived from cumulative goal totals and the other half on these 90min match subtotals. That way a 5-0 win is worth more than a 1-0 win.

Incredible game this evening. Could have finished 5-5!

Newcastle probably deserved the three points, but imagine if Liverpool were in Man City's shoes today. There would be PGMOL complaint letters flying all over the place! :lol:
