Hi

I trade primarily football over any other sport. I do my own research and often like to trade the Over 0.5 goals FH market.
I want to set up a rules file that checks the odds after 15 mins and if they are a certain value, let's say 1.6 just as an example, a bet will fire into the market.
I am used to doing this type of rule where, in-play, at a certain time the odds will be checked and if they are a certain value based on the fixed odds rule, the bet will fire. What I don't know how to do is to keep the rule firing until the odds are reached. So if the odds are say 1.58 the bet won't fire because the fixed odds are not 1.60. I am used to firing the rule 1 time and so if the odds are not what I have set, the bet just doesn't fire and that's it.
How do I keep the rule firing, i.e. checking if the odds, which will keep rising if there is no goal, meet my fixed odds condition and then fire a bet in. I guess what I am saying is, for this market there is either a first half goal already or there isn't and the odds will keep moving out. I want a rule not depending on time but just depending on odds.
Any help appreciated. Mike

Every time the market is refreshed all rules are checked (so up to 50 times every second) but a rule will only trigger if its conditions are satisfied

So if you have a 'Fixed Odds Condition' with the back price greater than 1.6
and its armed once - it will NOT trigger until the back price is 1.61 or above

You could just set up the rule to back your price at fixed odds of 1.6 at 15 mins in play.

If the price is >=1.6 it will match, if not it will stay unmatched until HT when the market closes or you cancel it sooner. If you only want to back from 15 mins to 30 mins or 42 mins then set your trigger for 15mins in-play and in Parameters tick the fill-or-kill box and set your time in seconds so 15*60=900 seconds for 30 mins or 1620 seconds for 42 mins.

If you've variable prices depending on leagues like the Dutch Eredivisie being full of goals and the Argentinian Premier Division having few goals, or price of the favourite at kick off time or such like that, then it becomes a bit more complicated but it's easy to figure out with a few stored values and grouping conditions or grouping groups within conditions.

I put in the notes part of my tester a basic description of what's happening at each point.
