There are different ways to start a servant. Do you mean starting a servant using a shortcut key? And what do you mean by a "spawned window"? Do you mean like an additional one-click screen?

Sorry, yes I meant to say starting a servant from a shortcut key (Ctrl + left click, Shift + left click or Alt + left click).

...and yes, the 'spawned screens' are additional One-click or Ladder screens on different markets to the main trading screen.

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work from a spawned screen. You need to have clicked on the relevant screen to bring it into focus but sounds like you are doing that because your shortcut includes a mouse click.
