Having a go with the in-play trader interface today, I thought I'd set it to placed back bets, but it seems to have laid instead. What do I have set incorrectly?

those settings look OK to me Goobs - don't know how you've managed to get a lay into the market unless something has changed since your bet was placed :?

I was so confused, backed the winner, was expecting to make some money and somehow still lost lol !

Where does this interface take its bet settings from? Is it something to do with my global settings?

It just did it again, is it because the global settings are putting in a 20 tick offset bet??

Using those settings, perhaps your back bet wasn't matched but the offset with greening bet was?

Post your log from that race.

yeah trying to trade with an offset in-play does not seem to work anyway i'm discovering today, the spead can be so wide at times you might be right with a lay but only your back bet gets taken!

You need to turn on fill or kill, that will ensure the second bet only gets triggered if the first bet is matched.
