I've written a very simple automation file to lay when the market hits a certain price and put a back bet in 20 ticks higher. The part I haven't solved yet is getting that green up bet to be kept when a market reopens after it is suspended. I'm sure it's easy but I've not found the right way to do it.
Also a second question. At present I'm testing my idea to a £1stake. But if moving to a larger stake say £100 is there way to only place the green up part as the initial bet gets matched. I.e if say £25 gets matched then the equivalent greening amout gets placed and so on until the full stake has been matched?

Keep after market suspended
You need to convert it from a cancel to a keep bet.
When you place the green up bet, make sure the persistence is set to Keep rather than Cancel. In automation that’s done in the rule that places the bet by setting the Bet Persistence to Keep. If it’s left as Cancel then Betfair will remove it on every suspension and it will never survive the off or an in play suspend.
