Currently building a custom trading workspace/dashboard using Google Gemini (AI), but I’ve hit a wall where my data manipulation skills are falling short (trying this approach, because they are small...).
The Goal:
I have a preconfigured 10-year compound plan (with monthly deposits and growth targets). The/my periodic trading activity needs to be perfectly reflected/mirrored against this plan in real-time. I want to see a "Reality vs. Plan" delta every time I upload my data.
The Struggle:
I am using SharpExchange (Betfair whitelabel, due to country restriction). Struggling to get the logic right when importing:
Account Statements vs. Settled P&L: Mapping the 'Running Balance' correctly across multiple uploads without creating duplicates or gaps.
Accounting Logic: Handling commissions, deposits, and withdrawals so they don't skew the 'Performance vs. Plan' graph.
Data Integrity: Ensuring the AI-parsed EXCEL/CSV data matches the exchange balance 1:1.
Currently, the dashboard I've built looks promising, but the engine under the hood (the data handling) isn't reflecting the reality of the exchange statements perfectly.
