I really hope Zelenskyy's not going to sign away Ukraine to Trump. He doesn't owe the US anything as no conditions were set when Biden gave him the aid. Even if Ukraine was to pay back, you don't settle a gas bill with a percentage of everything you earn that year! And how have they worked out that 50% is appropriate, other than being a nice round number??

What a flipping shit show. Zelenskyy never even got a chance to speak, it was more, sign this or else - we'll talk about what you get in return later.

Honestly the biggest surprise for me was finding out that Lindsay Graham was a man this whole time.

For whatever reason I pictured him very differently, with stunning blonde hair.

Bet he's never had that happen before.

Trump/Vance got it terribly wrong. Not for what they said to Zelenskyy nor how they said it (though it wasn't very professional) but for what they said to Putin! It was a an announcement/confirmation of Ukraine's weak position. Why should Putin now give way on any issue?

Trump has just weakened his position with Putin over Ukraine ... how can he criticise Putin's attack on Ukraine when he is attacking Venezuela
