I forget what course it was at today but on the jumps a horse wasn’t quite able to fluently make it, landed badly and tried to recover only a few gallops on and I saw his bottom right leg break and was running on it until pulled up I’ve never seen that before but that was a tough watch poor horsey

It was Cheerful Chap at Cork. Horrible sight. Even as an avid racing fan, I would be quite happy to see jumps removed altogether.

Yeah it wasn’t very nice at all and yes the jumps are brut at times poor thing, I do hope they fix him up sad sight indeed

End of the road for horses when they break a leg unfortunately. They can't survive on three legs long enough for the required healing period.
