Hi all,
TPD rely heavily on PAR charts to see how a race is being run .For the model it extracts information concerning the way the race is being run .But as I understand it a Par chart is only an approximation,an amelioration of past results combined to create an anticipatory scenario .
Inevitably accuracy is going to be a problem and the factors that go into the Par will be statistically sound .
As far as I can see TPD do a good job especially in flat races .The jumps being a different beast is a little more difficult ,and that can come down to jockey riding styles .(A factor severely overlooked by form students)>
But what it comes down to is this : Get your bets in (trade/lay/bet) before the end of the race because that is where things can go off par .
Regards
Tico
