Whats your thoughts on this?
The attached picture has heavy lay money way outside of the price. I noticed this on mutiple races that day, at a set time point or condition certain runners had a lump of money just outside the lower trading range. when the price came close near it, it was pulled.
My hypothesis is that if the price is pushing into a huge lay that means its an indicator that it has strong backing, so likely whoever it is will press some back bets onto that runner.
pretty odd tbh, I dont see any other advantage to doing this, but then again I'm not rich either!

There will be market manipulation like this going on all the time. Much of it won't be so easily visible. Don't assume money put up is always looking to match.
