I did really well last year, until the middle of the year.....
It all went, literally, pear-shaped at that point.
Had to have some significant work done on my wisdom teeth, so that stopped me from doing any exercise for a couple of months. I eventually returned from that and started exercising again and then ended up in A&E after a bad mountain bike crash. I'm still suffering the consequences of that four months later.
Anyhow, I'm back behind my desk now after a short break in the sun at an all-inclusive resort. So I'm ready to have a better go at it this year.

Im trying the quitting drinking route and it has helped very quickly with dropping weight since late December. Also, with absolutely no hard evidence to back it up other than how i feel, I think it has made me a lot sharper during trading sessions.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sat Jan 17, 2026 10:16 amI think I put on a stone since this post rather than losing one.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 5:32 pmA very timely thread!
I would like to lose a few pounds (weight) next month. Ideally a stone by Easter.![]()
