I need help please as my head is about to explode

I have been on chatgpt and that just goes back and forth and I can't get my head around backing in the win market on guardian and also the horses that qualify in the win market for a bet to be placed on them in the place market. AI suggested Signals which I tried, would fire in win market but not place market, then another AI said used Stored Values.
I have criterias in conditions and a list of horses in text comparison and could be more than one horse per race. I downloaded a template from here and tried changing certain things but can't get it to work, so please an idiots step by step guide would be very grateful

Signals only work within single markets. Use Stored values set to 'event level'. These can be read across markets in the same event, such as win and place markets of the same race.

If you want to bet on the same runner in both the Win and Place market use this and add/remove conditions accordingly

I have been trying to get this to work but place market just won't fire, the SV triggers also the back bet in win market.
This is what I have set up
In the win file I have a set/Modify a SV Only, set at 10 secs to 1 sec for row 1 on betfair. SV I have Store a value > Value name > for the event >with an entered amount of 1
Then I have my Back bet rule in same file, set at 8 secs to 1 sec for row 1, have stake set, no conditions in this as just testing
Then I have a seperate file for place market, set at 6 secs to 1 sec for row 1 and one condition, store value condition, name for the event is equal to an entered amount 1. Thats it so what am I doing wrong please?
Im not joking when I say I have spent about 10 hours on this trying to figure it out.
I know I wasnt the brightest at school but jeez didnt think I was this thick haha

Try doing it this way. Run this against the WIN and PLACE markets. This will place a back bet on the top horse in the WIN market and follow it up with a back bet on the same horse in any PLACE markets. Just change the win line to the trigger of your choice and it should duplicate in the PLACE markets.

Thank you for your time doing this, I will give it a try, will it work on multiple horses? I have a list of horses in the text comparison and if they meet my criteria I want it to place bet in the win and place market and could possibly be 2 or 3 horses in a race
