Hi
All recently ive asked Betfair to increase my deposit limit as i want to add additional funds for March 14- 16th Cheltenham. They are limiting me to £500. Ive never blown that £500 i have withdrawn and replaced. To increase your deposit limit you have to submit income affordability checks via Payroll or P60.
Am a bit concerned as you cannot contact them directly. One of the documents I supplied (payroll slip) shows backdated pay which makes the Net Income higher than the others. They started asking what are the additional payments for ? Which now coming to think about it i didn’t have to tell them as this is about affordability and nothing else. Is there any advise? Should i report this to my HR or can i go to the Betfair offices in Hammersmith. All this just to increase your own money deposits.

My advice is just bite the bullet and tell them whatever they want to know. I don't agree with the intrusiveness of the process but to try and fight it you risk cutting off your nose to spite your face.

James i have i told them to forget it just have to build the smallish Bank up and apply the maximum capital to it for Cheltenham.
They ask just for all your information, what your Trading strategy is and also have access to your Credit File, its outrageous. Do not sign up t any Safer Gambling deals on Betfair, control your deposits yourself.
Seems like the pro or long term accounts they technically are putting restrictions on and Credit Checks on after all your not applying for a loan.
