Hi

Ive a very basic rule that places a back bet on a chosen horse just before the race goes in play. The bet is kept in play and then a lay bet is placed once odds reach a certai level. (bit like dobbing i believe but not true dobbing as it isnt double or bust

it i wanted to create a rule or condition that says use full stake amount if the horse is less than x odds or half stake if over over y odds how would i implement that into the rule?

You'd use two back bet rule, one set with each stake
Then use fixed odds conditions on each of them to control which one triggers
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/fixed_odds.html

Also on both rules add a 'Number of place bet triggers condition' is equal to 0
That will ensure only one will ever trigger a bet

OK, ive set the condition from that, but unsure about the other steps. for example under the back bet rule i cannot sdee way off telling if "stake x amount if odds are less than one of the conditions"

i got a mail recently asking me about my trial experience and im pretty sure there was a link on there to trying automation, ill give that a look for that to see if that can help me,

You need two back bet rules one for each stake you want to place

The 'fixed odds' conditions then control which one triggers (ie, depending what the price is) and the 'number of place bet triggers' condition prevents the other rule from triggering once one of them has fired the bet
