I'm not talking about scaling here, I'm talking about having an edge and then replicating across a large number of markets. That's completely different from increasing your stakes.

Of course, just increasing your stakes to make more money is one of the hardest things to do. You have to work within the liquidity of the market.
Surely when edges are at such miniscule percentages, scaling becomes mandatory to make any sort of decent money?
You have scale and scope. My definition of scale is instead of using a £100 stake, you use a £1,000 stake. That gets difficult after a period of time because you have to work within the liquidity of the market.

It's possible to increase your scope so even if you have a small edge, you can replicate it across many, many markets.

Hi Euler
So you reckon that you can do everything with BA that the Github Fluline folk can do ?

No, I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is that Bet Angel has its own API, so you can use that to do a lot of coding without having to work on some of the more critical and complicated aspects of interfacing with Betfair.

If you don't want to code, there are plenty of ways that you can achieve very similar things using the automation we do:

- nesting
- looping variables
- global and local variables

It's just a visual representation of a coding language.

Basically, we've created Bet Angel so that you can do lots and lots of stuff depending on your ability.

If you're a coder and you love coding and you're confident coding and you want to pay £300 for a licence to do your own specific stuff, then knock yourself out, but we've sort of tried to make that Bet Angel a bridge between all of the things that you need to do, without making it too complicated.
And I have to say the addition of the API to BA was a great move, and takes it's capability through the roof compared to the GUI. It's all I used since it was released. The beauty is you still have the watch list and ladders to refer to so you can see your code is doing what it should.

I don't believe so , but there's a test page from the settings tab in BA. The manual is also very comprehensive. Also, both GPT and Gemini know enough about it to create Python code for you. I have a friend who can't code at all and he's been able to cobble stuff together purely using AI
