My subscription is about to run out, and with my Betfair account now heavily restricted. Before I go, I wanted to say a genuine thank you.

Reading the forums over the years and reading between the lines taught me more than I ever expected. Peter’s videos and the advice he’s shared are still the best around, and the BetAngel software itself was the catalyst for my whole journey. I simply couldn’t have done what I did without it.

I’ve evolved from a trader into a punter, and now focus almost entirely on football. Even betting into books at 106–112%, I’m still finding value. I walked away from racing books at 128%+ because they killed the edge for me, but football has only gotten better. I now have two strategies performing well and a third almost through final testing.

The biggest lesson I learned here was the importance of value. If it’s not value or only a couple of cents value, I don’t bet. I’ve also learned to control the urge to chase or do something silly when a game isn’t going my way. Variance is variance. I’ve won bets I should have lost in the dying seconds, and I’ve lost bets with the last kick of the game. It balances out. Once you build a bank and trust your model, everything becomes easier than those early days when you’re trying to protect every dollar.

AI has also been a game‑changer not just for coding, but for debriefing after each round. It’s like having a tutor in your pocket. Highlight what went well and what didn't.

Overall, I’m happy with where I’ve ended up, and none of it would have been possible without BetAngel, Peter, and the many people here who helped me along the way. And of course, Dallas your files sparked more ideas than you probably realise.

All the best in the future, it was fun.

PS: A free coffee mug wouldn’t go amiss. ;)

Your new approach mirrors mine in many ways, very well summed up.

Good luck for the future Andy.

Seems a shame to have to bail when you have a winning setup Andy. No friends or family you could create an account via ? With everything running on a VPS to obscure previous IP's\location\tracking etc ?

But a good read, and all the best regardless.

Good luck for the future. Although, I'm interested to know in what way Betfair have heavily restricted your account?
