Betfair Account Closed Due to “Business Decision”

Hi, I’m glad I found this forum and I hope someone here might be able to help with my situation.

I created an account year ago on Betfair. Everything seemed fine at first, but after I made my first deposit, my account was immediately closed. I have contacted customer support several times to ask about the situation, but they only say that the decision was made for “business reasons” and that the account cannot be reconsidered.

I would really appreciate it if anyone here could help or share their experience. Has anyone had a similar situation with Betfair?

Thanks, I found some useful threads. I’ve sent emails to the CEO and the complaints team, so let’s see what happens. Customer service has been useless — they just keep saying the decision is final, which is unbelievable since I haven’t knowingly broken any terms and conditions.

Have you actually placed any bets on the account, or have you just been using things like Bet Angel in practice mode? If you use Betfair without placing any bets, your account will be closed.

No, I didn’t. My account was closed while I was making my first deposit, and I haven’t received any confirmation about what the red flag in my activity was.

Like few minutes after I signed up.
This guy had the exact same issue, dunno did he manage to get his account re-opened.
