I have 10 rules setup in a rules file. All of these have identical common conditions with regards to market volume, book percentage and price range, etc. Each rule then has different conditions with regards to back and lay prices and other criteria specific to each rule. Is there any easy way to nest the rules so that I don't have to add the common conditions to each rule?

This is kinda what I'm after:

A primary rule to check the market volume, selection volume, lay and back book percentages plus any other generic conditions that I have set and if these conditions are met then allow my 10 rules to fire (these contain specific conditions with regards to price, offsets, etc).

I want this process to repeat within the timescales that I have set.

You could use a 'Set/Modify Signal' rule and set a signal, and add your common conditions to these

Then on your other rules use a 'Signal Set condition' to test if the signal rule has been triggered (ie, your common rules are all satisfied)

That way if you need to make any changes to the conditions you only need to them once in the Signal rule

I do this a lot.

1) test x condition and if true then set stored value x = 1
2) test y condition and if true then set stored value y = 1
3) test z condition and if true then set stored value z = 1
4) trigger action on condition that all SVs = 1
5) set x y and z stored values back to 0
