Hi, Is it possible on any of the rules to stop when you betfair bank has increased by a set amount?
For example lets say i have selected all the win races in UK and Ireland within guardian and set an automation rul against them, if my betfair balance is in profit say £15 after 20% of the races have completed can i have a rule or condition that says "bank has increased by X amount do not use the automation rule on future races."
Stop at bank increase?

Hi,
I think you could store a value for "Bet Angel" with your balance plus the percent increase you are aiming for, triggered at start of days racing, call it maybe "balanceplus". Then add a condition to your rules file that current balance is less than "balanceplus".

There is an example here you can use which tracks your P/L for the daysteevjp wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2026 8:27 amHi, Is it possible on any of the rules to stop when you betfair bank has increased by a set amount?

All you then need is a Stored value condition on the the rule/s you want to stop to test
The stored value for Bet Angel named Total_Profit is less than 'X'
thanks both
I took a look at the link, that seems to be a rules file, from what i can tell I can only have 1 rule active at a time
EDIT
Ive worked out how to add more than one automation rule at a time, I assume the stored value i need to put on the rule doing the actual letting (not the profit or loss rule), either way, how do i get one rule to determine/see the information in order to then stop betting for the day. This seems like an advanced function to me and i have just about got to grips with basic functions.
I have read something on stored values, but I am afraid i just dont understand what i need to do to get it to work, even just looking at the plethora of options under the "with" option is confusing. Any assitance apprecaited

Do you have an automation file yet, that is placing the trades on the days racing?

I think it can all done be done within your existing rules file, but I am no expert! if you give us an hour to test a few things i can probably attach the rules you need

Im still testing, if info is not showing in your log on what you are running, have you checked if the box is ticked at bottom of stored value tab in your rules files?
You can use the copy feature and quickly copy the rules into a single automation file
viewtopic.php?p=116256
But they will run just the same by having both files separately or merged into one.
At the bottom of the Guardian page on the automation tab there is a menu for you to select which rules file to show.
That will tell you if its triggering or not - which it should be by just applying it to the markets as it is, the only edit you need to do is in the 'Create no lose trade on fav' file on the conditions tab
