Percentage of Profit bet is reporting profit 0 when im in profit

Hi
Im trying to get a percentage of total profit working via automation Dallas gave me instructions how to do it but i cant get it working ..

I looks to me as though it is not placing the bet because it is reporting my profit is 0 ...which is not true
I set stored value as 'profit' for the market with the profit and loss of a selection
then made adjustment for 13%

Then in parameters set stake as stored value stake Name 'profit' for current selection
im my log reports
08/04/2026 18:33:11: [G_Auto 2] : Store Value (Shared) for Bet Angel: profit = 0 - 13%
My profit was over £100 yet reporting £0
I cant figure how to do it

Please help

hi,
just a thought, are you in practice mode?
I rarely use practice mode, so not too sure of the following :-

I think it has a starting balance of 1000 ? if you are starting with that, maybe it does not go past 1000......therefore, no profit will be showing.

I am probably barking up the wrong tree, but that is not unusual for me!!

A couple of issues.

Firstly you need to be storing the 'profit' stored value first, in a line somewhere before the back bet trigger.

Secondly where is the profit or loss for that selection going to come from? Or have you already placed bets on it? Without any bets already placed then 'profit' will = 0 and so no further back bet will be placed.

Be careful using a stored value as a stake, as a small mistake could lead to an unintended huge bet being placed. I recommend you are trying this out in Practise Mode first so that any mistakes do not end up costing you.

Thanks eatyourgreens but im not using practice mode i just have confirm bets ticked so i cant make an error..
i have tried editing the baf changing settings and values just wont work!

..What im trying to do is when i have a profit i want to be able to bet a % of that profit..So when you ask where is the stake coming from its my total running profit of the day? I am using confirm bets while testing the baf.

Then you are also completely missing the part that keeps tabs on your daily profit.

Jamesedwards i dont understand what you are saying?
I use a baf which gives me my profit loss displayed on guardian
so i can see my profit, i bet manually then when im in profit i want to bet a % of the winnings using automation file..
I cant figure out how to do it ..

Right, so you are running two separate rulefiles against the same market?

Upload the other .baf as well.
